Richa Chadha on Siddharth Shukla’s death: ‘Stress is a terrible thing’


New Delhi: Bollywood actor Richa Chadha on Thursday (September 2) condoled the demise of Sidharth Shukla, who passed away today at the age of 40, and said, “Stress is a terrible thing.”

Richa shared a picture of the late actor along with a long note on her Instagram handle. The note read, “RIP Siddharth Shukla. Didn’t know you at all, bro. Never met you. But today my heart goes out to your mother. Keeping your son alive is the worst possible pain. V. To your family.” Condolences. It seemed like you are successful, happy, working towards your dreams… You were loved too.”

It continued and added, “Everyone in this fraternity can learn to be kind to each other but the most important thing is to learn to be kind to yourself. Stress is a terrible thing. Even your legions of fans can learn to be kind.” Must be heartbroken. Get well”

Shukla’s sudden demise on Friday at such a young age shook the Indian film and television industry. Cooper Hospital in Mumbai confirmed the news of his death to ANI.

The actor was last seen in reality shows ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and ‘Dance Deewane 3’ alongside Shehnaaz Gill. The late star rose to fame with the hit TV shows ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’.

She was also seen in the 2018 film ‘Soorma’ opposite Diljit Dosanjh.

Shukla also acted in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’ where he emerged as the winner. The actor’s last screen outing was Ekta Kapoor’s hugely popular show ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’ in which she played the role of Agastya.
