UP Police Bharti: One lakh posts vacant in police department, 25 thousand soldiers will be recruited

UP Police Recruitment 2021: About one lakh posts are lying vacant in the police department of Uttar Pradesh. In this, 30 thousand posts are of soldiers. The exercise to fill these posts has started. The DGP Headquarters has sent a proposal to the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board for the recruitment of 25,000 constables. Out of the vacant posts, about 5 thousand are from sports and deceased dependent quota.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board may soon issue advertisement for recruitment to the vacant posts of constables. However, recruitment will not be done on about 5 thousand posts of sports and deceased dependent quota. In the proposal sent from the headquarters, only ordinary soldiers will be recruited. It is being told that this recruitment is being done to provide jawans to Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force and PAC.

18 thousand soldiers are undergoing training

On the other hand, the officials of the Recruitment Board say that the process of recruitment of constables will not be started before January. At present, the training of 18 thousand soldiers is going on which will be completed next year. Apart from this, the process of other recruitments is also going on. This is the reason that the chances of recruitment to these posts before the elections are very less.
